Enrichment opportunities for gifted and talented students apply learning meaningfully in authentic settings both in and outside the classroom. Co-curricular opportunities are directly related to the school-based curriculum or areas of study. Extracurricular opportunities are those that provide students with intellectual or social-emotional stimulation that is not directly related to the school curriculum.
