The eMpower Hour is especially for gifted and talented students and their families. This hour features the celebration of the MCGATE Student Essay Contest winners, participants, and guests. Gifted students, you will be empowered to know:

• What are my unique talents and abilities?
• How do I speak up for my learning needs? (self-advocacy)
• What can I do to get and stay organized for learning?

Don’t miss this opportunity to meet up with other gifted kids and families from across the state. Educators are welcome! Door prizes! This event is free, but each person must register by April 26, 2021. (Recommended for grades 5 – 12)
