Gifted and talented students need a range of services to optimally develop their talents. This includes classroom differentiation as well as programming offered in a variety of other settings. Effective programs and services for gifted and talented students will target their unique cognitive and social and emotional needs and provide opportunities for them to work in their talent areas with like-minded peers.
